The carnation is a popular flower that has a history dating back over 2000 years! They are the birth flower of January and the official flower of Mother's Day. Carnations are a favourite flower for many as they are inexpensive, long-lasting and come in an array of colours. Purple carnations symbolize capriciousness, whimsy and unpredictability. The lighter purple hue of carnation usually comes out with a more positive meaning but it can spring off a more negative symbol as the shade of purple gets darker.

Website was easy to navigate. Prices were reasonable. Was easy to place an online order for delivery. I don't know what the finished product looked like (just going based on what I choose on the website) but very pleased that delivery instructions were followed and the flowers were waiting for the person when they got home. My daughter loves the colour purple and also chocolates. She was not well the other day and I knew she needed something cheerful and fun. I was able to find some gorgeous purple tulips, which were sent along with chocolates. I was so happy to see the wide selection of colours, arrangements, and prices to suit every budget. I highly recommend Canada Flowers. I send my Aunt, who is in a retirement home, a few bouquets each year.
